2023 Hanging Basket Workshops

Join Piala’s Nursery staff and plant your own hanging basket!

We will have several styles and sizes of decorative hanging baskets and a variety of plants for you to choose from. You will receive guidance with planting, but the design and plant choices are completely up to you! You will be able to walk through our greenhouse, ask our Garden Center staff any questions, and hopefully enjoy getting your hands a little dirty.

This is a great Mother’s Day gift opportunity, or just an excuse to spend some time in the warm greenhouse for an afternoon or morning. Refreshments and snacks will be served.

You may bring your own planter if you prefer, otherwise you can purchase one the day of the event. There will be additional material costs on the day of the event – plants, soil, hanging basket or planter. Our hanging baskets range from $21 to $49, and you can expect $20+ for planting materials (potting soil, fertilizer and plant plugs).

Leave the hard work to us! We’ll keep your custom basket warm, watered, and fertilized during the rollercoaster of early spring weather, until it’s time for your flowers to go home in May. Baskets must be picked up no later than May 31st.
