Why We Love It:
Pink Poppet Weigela is truly a compact shrub and one of our absolute favorite weigelas. We’ve included it in many landscape designs with great success for over a decade! This flowering shrub bursts with light pink trumpet-shaped flowers in late spring and often has sporadic repeat blooms here and there throughout the summer.

Pink Poppet Weigela is a great choice for family-friendly spaces. This low maintenance shrub does not have thorns nor does it have any messy fruit. Weigelas are also a good choice for attracting hummingbirds to your yard.

Know Before You Plant:
Pink Poppet Weigelas love full sunlight and average watering conditions. They will not tolerate deep shade or extremely wet soil without adequate drainage. They can be susceptible to rabbit damage.

Where It Thrives:
Pink Poppet Weigela is a shrub that can be used in many ways throughout the landscape. It is effective as a low hedge, foundation planting, grouped together for a shrub border, or used as a specimen planting in a small space.
